About 35 people gathered at Gainesville’s Albert “Ray” Massey Park at noon Sunday to protest U.S. military action in Venezuela and Immigration and Customs Enforcement across the country.
"This killing is part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence, impunity and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities," said Cynthia Odierna, an organizer of the Naples event. "We are outraged by the killing of Renee Nicole Good by ICE."
