An illegal alien was the latest person to be arrested as part of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office’s Operation Checkmate, a multi-day operation targeting those who use the internet to solicit

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Bristol, Tennessee Police Department (BTPD) said in a release on Wednesday that six individuals were arrested after an undercover operation targeting suspected online predators.

The Longmont Police Department arrested 29-year-old William McRoberts on June 19 on suspicion of possession of child sexual abuse materials and other related charges, around two weeks after the department had a public kerfuffle related to the matter with the Texas-based social media group Predator Poachers.

Their arrests stem from the undercover operation “Operation Fool’s End,” which was conducted in April and aimed to identify and arrest people seeking to sexually exploit children online.

A registered sexual predator was arrested less than 12 hours after his release from state prison after he failed to report to probation and walked to the Palm Coast home where he had previously victimized children,

The 561 Predator Catchers helped stage the sting that led to the Delray Beach arrest. The 22-year-old thought he was texting with a 13-year-old boy.
